Tarnished ??? is an unlockable character in Epiphany, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Mix (consumable slot)

Cannot have Red Heart containers. Any item that gives Red Heart containers will grant a Soul Heart instead.

Bomb pickups are replaced with Colostomy Bags. Regular bombs may not be obtained - any item that would give a bomb spawns a Blue Fly instead.

Has an additional Creep Reservoir bar displayed below the health on the HUD. It consists of 8 individual ticks that can be filled with 5 different types of creep.

While shooting tears, a Vomit Bar is charged for 2 seconds - letting go consumes 1 tick of the Creep Reservoir and vomits out creep in front of Tarnished ???.

The type of creep depends on the left-most icon shown on the Creep Reservoir. These can be cycled through using the drop button.

At the start of the run, the Creep Reservoir has 3 different fully-charged creep types.

Picking up Colostomy Bags fills half of the Creep Reservoir with the type of creep based on the bag that was picked up:

Two of the same types may not be held at the same time - if the bar for a single type of creep is full, the Colostomy Bag of that type may not be picked up.

Colostomy Bags are spawned by dealing damage to enemies. A total of 40 + 30 × CurrentFloor damage is required for a bag to spawn.

Only half of the damage dealt to bosses is registered for this purpose.

If there are 3 Colostomy Bags on the ground, no more may spawn by dealing damage. Brown Colostomy Bags are not counted toward this limit.

Using the bomb button consumes 1 tick of the Creep Reservoir and makes Tarnished ??? place creep under him for half a second. Multiple uses of the button will stack up the maximum creep placement time.

The creep expires after 4 seconds. Certain creep types have different expiration times.

Holding down the bomb button consumes up to 5 ticks of the Creep Reservoir, and causes an explosion afterward, dealing the same damage in a radius as a regular bomb.

The explosion also places a large puddle of creep based on the currently selected type. The duration of the creep is much longer and also causes all other creep on screen to remain active until it disappears.

An explosion may only be triggered using 5 ticks of the same creep type. This is indicated by the 5th tick being larger and having a fuse on top of it.

Creep spawned by Tarnished ??? is able to target flying enemies.

Upon death, all held Colostomy Bags are dropped to the ground, and become half-full, even if previously less full.

Use Hold while empty as Tainted ??? in the starting room of a run. Then, proceed toward The Chest's boss room. Answer the Bundled Photos' questions correctly to unlock the character. [video tutorial]
