This item pays tribute to the Touhou doujin song "The Repentance Poem of the Blue Moon ~ Universal Nemesis", and therefore it contributes towards the Musician transformation.
The original source of this song is Flandre Scarlet's theme, "U.N. Owen was her?".

This item's description is taken from a line of lyrics in this song. When Tainted Seija picks up this item, its description changes to: “At that time, I lacked any reason”, which is also a lyric from the same song.

Despite being a Quality 4 item, this is not weakened by Tainted Seija's mechanics, but is instead specially enhanced by her. This is because the item's design theme revolves around a "bad child's letter of repentance", embodying a plea for redemption or compassion. This meaning resonates thematically with Tainted Seija's own design concept of "Seija Kijin oppressed by the powerful".

This item's design of using luck to influence its chance is a reference to the effect of Perfection. However, the practice of judging a child as "good" or "bad" based on academic performance is one-sided. Therefore, the item uses the absolute value of luck to determine its chance.
