Rin is a character in Reverie: Make Good Omissions, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Data NoteBook (consumable slot)

A special character that cannot be directly selected from the Character select menu. To play as Rin, need to hold down E on the keyboard or RB on controlle in the menu until the color change appears.

Uses Isaac's base stats as a template, then applies 2-12 random changes to determine starting stats. Each change increases or decreases 1 random stat within the following ranges:
• speed [-0.125, 0.375]
• fire rate [-0.6, 1.8]
• flat damage [-1.5, 4.5]
• range [-2.5, 7.5]
• shot speed [-0.125, 0.375]
• luck [-0.5, 1.5]

Has no health and dies in one hit.

Has 3 extra life that causes her to respawn in the current room. If Rin becomes can possess health but don't have any red heart containers, respawns with half soul heart, otherwise with a half red heart.

If items without the quest tag would spawn upon entering a room, replace them with Chaos Data.

Lin originates from Rin Satsuki, an unimplemented character in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
She was originally planned as the third playable character but was cut during development due to time constraints. Remnants of her data, such as related strings, can still be found in the main program of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.
This character never officially appeared, has no canonical design, no official artwork, and no descriptive details in the main setting.

Lin's visual design is derived from the classic fanon interpretation of Rin Satsuki, which references C62 circle cut design of the Team Shanghai Alice poster girl.
