Red penny is a trinket in Preyn's Collection, a mod for The Binding of Isaac. It is part of the Golden Collection submod.

Grants a chance to drop a Cracked Key or trigger Soul of Cain when collecting coins.

The chance to drop a Cracked Key is based on the coin's worth:
• Penny: 4% chance.
• Double Penny: 7.84% chance.
• Nickel: 18.47% chance.
• Dime: 54.8% chance.

The chance to trigger Soul of Cain is based on the coin's worth:
• Penny: 6% chance.
• Double Penny: 11.64% chance.
• Nickel: 26.61% chance.
• Dime: 60.48% chance.
