Magatama Necklace item
Magatama Necklace is a passive item in Reverie: Make Good Omissions, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.
Description
Grants 3 magatama that can block damage.
Originally unpickable hearts can be picked up to replenish magatama.
The restored magatama can exceed 3 and can be replenished up to a maximum of 41 magatama.
When Isaac takes damage, if a magatama is available, instead, 1 magatama will be consumed.

Trivia
The design decision to cap the magatama count at 41 is derived from Misumaru Tamatsukuri's official artwork in Unconnected Marketeers, which depicts exactly 41 magatama.
This item pays homage to the gameplay mechanic in the game War Of Three Kingdoms, where a player's health is represented and counted using magatama symbols.
